Sr. SRE Engineer

Position Overview:
Bonfy.AI is looking for a curious, intelligent Security / SRE / DevOps Engineer with experience in at least two of the mentioned domains which can automate company engineering processes to perfection yet not hesitate to say no to any option that does not match the general business direction, security basics, and team's current capability and capacity. We are seeking an individual who enjoys working in a company of experienced, opinionated, and very friendly comrades!
Responsibilities
- Design, create, and maintain secure and flexible AWS infrastructure using IaC (Terraform) and scripting (Python, bash) means and tools; design, create, and maintain CI/CD processes (GitActions, Jenkins) that facilitate and enhance the company's Engineers' productivity, and be strongly willing to do whatever it takes to facilitate the company's journey to success.
- Proactively monitor and optimize the performance, reliability, and security of the AWS infrastructure and CI/CD pipelines to ensure high availability and responsiveness.
- Implement and maintain comprehensive logging, monitoring, and alerting systems to quickly identify and address any issues or bottlenecks in the infrastructure.
- Continuously research and evaluate new technologies, tools, and methodologies to identify opportunities for improving efficiency, scalability, and security.
Qualifications
- Generalist SRE / Security Engineer knowledgeable in the areas of AWS / GitHub / CI/CD / Terraform domains. Willing to adapt to the current situation but not sacrifice core professional principles.
- AWS - You’ve worked with AWS infrastructure for at least 5 years, and can explain its main building blocks, starting with networking and continuing to storage and computing. You maintain a deep understanding of AWS services and relationships.
- Terraform - You’ve worked with Terraform for 3 years or more and consider yourself an advanced Terraform user; You also had the opportunity to use Ansible and/or others early IaC tools.
- Scripting - You’ve used bash and Python for the past 5 years or more, and can demonstrate strong coding expertise.
- CI/CD - You’ve been handling CICD for at least 5 years, and have a strong understanding of how it works. You can describe various existing tools and frameworks; You’ve also used Jenkins and/or GitHub Actions for a few years.
- Security - At least 3 years of experience working in the security domain; you have experience with many standards and have gone through at least one standard audit, SOC II, PCI counts
Additional Requirements:
- Applicants must have legal authorization to work in the United States
- Applicants must be able to work in a hybrid mode at our office located in Mountain View, California.
